A nod to the Conklin Nozac series of piston fillers introduced in 1929, the new Word Gauge fountain pen stands out for one very cool feature: It lets you know how many words you can write before you run out of ink. Just keep an eye on the viewing window, whose numbered gradations start at 5,000 at the top of the reservoir and make their way down to 1,000 just above the grip section. Handcrafted in Italy from a solid bar of resin, the body has a classic black finish, gleaming chrome accents, and a pocket clip engraved with the company’s name. The cap opens to reveal a stainless steel nib, and posts to add length and weight while you write.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of nib sizes between fine, medium, and 1.1mm stub.
