Conspiracy marks a turning point in the world of Magic the Gathering in that it is a new multiplayer style that has never been seen before. Conspiracy is designed to be drafted with 6 to 8 people, who then split into groups of 3 or 4. Once you've got your group finalized, it is all out free-for-all, with a few core principles guiding gameplay.
Conspiracy was designed with these ideas in mind:
Cards should encourage attacking to keep the game moving
Cards should create moments for the whole table (for example, Warp World)
Multiplayer needs mana sinks—games will go long and we want to keep players involved
