artiefraynMD (Massdrop) basically collects sales for a certain timespan. This timespan is usually one or two weeks. After this, they tell the vendor how many units they sold and redirect the units to the customers. During this timespan of collecting orders, the price is shown on MD. On all other times, you will only see the button to 'request this drop', which basically tells MD that you want them to get a new groupbuy started.

From https://helpdesk.massdrop.com/hc/en-us/articles/216539348-How-do-drops-work- :
" We make the most requested products available in limited-time events called “drops.” Each drop runs an average of 7 to 10 days and features different price points that can unlock depending on how many members participate. The more people join a drop, the lower the price. Payment is captured when the drop ends. We then place the group’s order with the vendor, who prepares it for shipment to our warehouse—or, in some cases, ships it directly to the drop participants."

PirateIceI can remember the time that I didn't know what a mechanical keyboard was. I laughed at a friend that had not only one, but two 'overpriced' mechanical keyboards.Times have changed, and now I am the absurd one compared to that friend with only two standard ducky boards :p. So yeah, I don't mind explaining anything to anyone willing to learn.
