Excuse me for being a troll, but I have been reading about requests for compensations several times now and it truly makes me wondering.
Seriously wondering about what compensation people would have in mind? Free keyboard? 10 bucks off? Lifetime membership for the gym? Free coffee at Starbucks for a year all because the 60-70 dollar keyboard you ordered will arrive somewhat later than expected?
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there an option to bail out when you don't want to wait for this any longer?
Maybe I am too tolerant and too patient and the right thing to do is ask for compensation. Maybe that is just what we expect now, if one screws up... WE NEED TO BE COMPENSATED!!!

pnutThe fact of the matter is that Cooler Master knew about this and did nothing to inform us that we were going to be receiving it late. This is 100% the fault of Cooler Master, and they knew it was not going to be here on time.
As far as what compensation I have in mind, I am not positive. Potentially some keycaps? Maybe a mousepad? Maybe some sort of discount? I am not positive as to what the compensation should be however I feel as though there should be some.

pnutYou shouldn't expect the same from the hundreds of other people that participated in this drop. Somebody mentioned their current keyboard being broken, everybody has their own circumstances. There was a specified date that was taken into consideration during the time of purchase and that date was not met. This is not a single order but one that involves many people. How CM let this bulk order go over their head is beyond me.
Personally, I would have paid the extra money somewhere else and enjoyed my product for a few extra months had I known this would happen. Bailing now does not give us back the time we have waited. It's not outrageous to request compensation when they didn't follow through with the original ship date.

pnutHow about Cooler Master pays for massdrop to same day Ship the boards to us? That seems reasonable to me, that way we get the boards faster (and maybe get our shipping reimbursed please?).

GameSofteryeah actually that's the first reasonable suggestion. I doubt it'll happen, I think the outcome will probably just be Massdrop not using Cooler Master in the future as to not turn off more people.
