"Expect an update from us on 3/2 or sooner if something comes up."
That was in the last email I got, so why was I not updated again? I shouldn't have to come here for updates!
This was my first and probably last time using MassDrop. The concept it nice but this is insane! Honestly i'm extremely frustrated like everyone else here, but what bothers me more than anything is how we are being treated. Why have we not just been refunded a portion of our cost? Offering me a useless key tester and an even more useless $20 coupon for a store that there is no way in hell I will ever order from after this debacle, is nothing but a slap in the face. Take that $20 coupon and apply it to THIS ORDER. Better yet also apply whatever that key tester costs to this order as well.
Seriously, giving me a $20 coupon is a huge slap in the face. 1) I doubt anyone here will be ordering anything from CM after this, so the coupons cost CM nothing. 2) We all know coupons don't cost anything anyways, in fact they are used as a way to make MORE money by encouraging people to buy new products. So by giving us this coupon what you are basically saying is "So sorry we completely screwed up your order, take this so you can spend more money with us".

AgathornHello @Agathorn, I truly do apologize for everyone not getting updates. We did not have anyone assigned as a dedicated person to this community and that is our fault. That is why I have been designated as the rep here to answer all questions you have regarding CM and their products.
Please do not blame Massdrop for this. It is 100% CM's fault. We did not anticipate the port strike to happen nor did we anticipate such a long delay for this keyboard to arrive. We are doing our best to make sure that we get these keyboards out to everyone ASAP and pushing the port and trucking company.
Because of the current congestion at the ports, the trucking companies are just pulling any container available and delivering them to make room for the other containers that are just sitting on ships.
So to provide you all an update, as of right now, the ETA for us to receive these keyboards is 3/16. Again this is not confirmed, because of the congestion but I am personally working with our logistics team to get an update daily.
So please understand that we are doing our best.

KenM_ZalmanKen, do you have any information with respect to your regular inventory? I notice all of the normal distributors (Amazon, Newegg and even your own company store) are out of stock on most of your keyboards. When do you anticipate that restocking at these distributors, if I may ask?
I also post this to note to folks on this drop that it most definitely isn't just an isolated issue. CM must be frantically trying to expedite the unloading of containers because their business inventory hangs in the balance!

Currently, we are completely out of stock on this keyboard locally. That is why Massdrop doesn't have any inventory to ship out for the time being. As for when normal distributors will have stock on this item, it will depend on when they receive their shipment. Each distributor has their own rep and the order is placed according to their schedule, so I would not know this information. The ETA that I have provided is specifically for Massdrop.
And thank you for understanding this situation. I will check with the port and freight company first thing tomorrow when I get into the office and provide you all with an updated ETA.
