bonesetterWell it does have this at the bottom of the description of the keyboard "Estimated time until product ships: 10 business days after the drop end date." I wouldn't expect anything to get shipped till the first full week of May going off that.

OmegaKShame on me for not paying attention to the details. Still... two weeks just to START shipping seems a little extreme.

bonesetterYeah it's my first drop I'm involved in, I was hopping they would ship in a little less than the 10 business days doing some research though it seems like they really do usually take that long. I guess if i wanted it within a couple of days I could have bought it at full price. Since I have a working keyboard though the savings are sort of worth the wait.

OmegaKAs this is my first, I really don't like the wait. In the future... I think I'll just pay full price. Three weeks sucks.

OmegaKYou need to understand what MassDrop is. They take community vote on what items they should put up and then they contact the manufacturer and ask what prices they can get for x quantity and then if the manufacturer agrees they start the drop. When they start the drop MassDrop has 0 stock of the item and when the drop is over and 400 people buy the item they order 400 units from the manufacturer. The manufacturer then ships MassDrop the units in bulk and MassDrop then individually ships them out to the customer. So basically you are ordering a back-ordered item. The reason they can offer lower prices is because the manufacturer gives a lower price for large quantity orders. So if you aren't willing to wait then go buy it at full price, MassDrop is for people who have been waiting for a good deal to get an item not people who just broke their keyboard and need an immediate replacement.

hells_yeaI agree bud, as I said in two of my previous post, since I have working keyboard the wait isn't as bad as for some people that expected to get this within a few days, if I wanted something ASAP this site would be the last place I would order from but for a good deal the wait is worth it to me.

hells_yeaI agree fully with that you said, but after the drop ends and nobody can order more, why not order them straight away? Instead of the 5 days it takes to order.
