Can this stand be used when charging a device? I have a galaxy s5 and am not sure if I can place it on this stand in an upright position while charging.

roshanNZThis cannot be used to charge any device whose charging port is on the bottom. The phone rests flush against the bottom of the stand, and it's not possible to put a cord in there. I found this out just this weekend with my iPhone 6 when my drop arrived. Pretty disappointed.

fieldnoiseMy phone isn't charging most of the time that it's sitting on my desk and in those situations where I do need to charge my phone, I simply turn my phone upside down and plug in the charger. You might try deploying a similar strategy but you could also turn your phone side-ways.
