Anyone been able to update the firmware on these? Win10 x64 doesn't seem to recognize the USB device to run the burn tool. I've had a single for months and love it. Just added a second for stereo and there's some kind of pop sound happening when streaming bluetooth to the stereo setup. Hoping the firmware update cleans that up. But struggling to update it. Single has been perfect. Hoping stereo gets worked out and these things rock the way I hope they do!
Just got mine from a recent drop. Mine personally cuts out if it gets anywhere near loud, to the point where it's quieter than a shower. Anyone have a similar experience?
Finally opened mine out of the package and I love this thing. I wish I bought two so I can try out the stereo function on the larger models. I have yet to test out the waterproof function but I don't want to just throw it in now before I've had some fun with it. It sounds great with no distortion noticeable. The bass on this is clean and doesn't ruin the high notes when it starts kicking. It's not that strong though but if your close you can feel it. It's also very loud and you won't need to have the volume high to fill a room. It also charges exceptionally fast and last a long time on a single charge. And for the price I payed, this thing is a steal and I would highly recommend someone who's looking for a good speaker without the price of one.
Edit:
I bought a second one and I love the stereo performance of the speakers. There's an obvious boost in volume and they work so well together. Definitely recommend them with this setup
OnslashI don't have personal experience with either speaker, but it looks like the taotronics one you mentioned isn't waterproof and that it has a slightly more beefy set of drivers.
Anyone own this? Can anyone attest as to the sound signature/frequency response curve, and how the bass response is in particular? I'm expecting it to be fairly thin given the size of the drivers, but for this application that might be acceptable if it manages to convey good bass clarity despite weak response. (Not looking for heavy bass response, just want to avoid the usual horrendously thin bass/mid-heavy sound you can find in cheaper computer speakers and the like.)
I think it sounds good when moving around, but Corbett I S is a little big to mount via bottom thread hole on front bar. Corbett Mini would be perfect for that. Maybe finding a custom mounting method to frame for I S, would be the way to go.
guanch1984Sweet, thanks for the info! I'll just come up with a rig! I might make a shock-resistant PVC w/styrofoam mount or something. Or just glue it to my helmet lol :P
