Is this cork treated with ScotchGuard, and pre-treated against abrasion and UV damage? Other suppliers' cork is this way. Due to how "inexpensive" this seems, I doubt it?!!??!?!
description states cork Printed fabric lined with polyurethane. This leads me to believe that it is not real cork, just fabric printed with a cork pattern and backed with a waterproof lining.

This is made from thin layers of natural cork. Where did you see that it states printed? I don't see it on our site but want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything because printed is not correct. Thanks!
I just reread the description. That is definitely my mistake. I apologize. Why is it called fabric if it is cork? That seems to be misleading to the fabric buying community.

That's a good question. The vendor calls it fabric because you can sew with it but I see your point that it's not accurate. I can't change the description while the drop is live but if we are able to bring this drop back, I will make sure it's accurately labeled.
Pat_H, All online and retail shops that sell this cork fabric label it as either Cork Fabric or Natural Cork Fabric. It IS a fabric. When Massdrop sells "printed" fabric it is labeled as cotton, linen, canvas, etc. All of the sewing blogs I follow, plus Facebook sewing groups I follow also refer to this as a fabric. Google cork fabric or search Etsy for cork fabric and you'll see many sources.
All online shops that sell this cork fabric label it as either cork fabric or natural cork fabric. It IS a fabric. The company supplying this drop should be more specific with the backing information. Is the backing just polyurethane? The other natural cork fabric I found for sale online show the backing as 50% polyurethane, 35% cotton, 15% polyester (or similar percentages) or cotton/poly, never just polyurethane alone.
