I just bough this keyboard this exact model with the brown switches and I would recommend it for any gamer who also types a lot! Currently this is a very fair price for this exact model too. There are other models with the cherry mx silver switches which are the speed switch but aren't recommended if you do a lot of typing but not to say you can't type on them. The RGB lighting is top notch, usb pass thru great, profile memory a plus, and great build quality. I read someone complaining about it not having a removable cord. It's a heavy duty braided cable with a USB 3.0 upstream cable built in that's why it's not removable and so heavy duty. This wasn't designed to be extremely portable but for performance and durability. Not everyone will like corsair just like some don't care for razer or cool master. I'm just saying you aren't getting a POS when purchasing this keyboard. Would recommend that you and purchase again. Thank you Massdrop!!!
I feel like at this price point it should have a replaceable Cable... I've had one fail in the past and instead of replacing the cable I had to buy a whole new keyboard. Also transporting becomes a hassle. It's a lot easier to take a keyboard and leave a cable if you can buy an extra. For almost $200 I'm disappointed, I don't care about anything else on the keyboard because it doesn't have such a, what I feel in today's world of Keyboards, basic feature.
I bought the gunmetal version with cherry MX speed switches on sale for amazon for about 175$ and honestly I love this keyboard and is was worth it. Going from a cheap 15$ keyboard vs this one by corsair it made all the difference especially in gaming but has also helped me type allot better. Plus I bought the corsair glave aluminum and the aluminum dual sides mouse pad from corsair as well. I love corsair for their quality.
HumbertoAragonCheck out any keyboard on mechanicalkeyboards.com especially Leopold and Ducky. You can get much better quality build and keycaps for much cheaper, Corsair is very overpriced for the quality of the keyboard you get. Also check out the Mech Keys community on here they offer all better brands than Corsair.
Same keyboard is 174.99, on amazon, and you can have it in the next two days for free if you have prime. horrible drop. It’s not a deal, it’s a ripoff of the customers.
