This is, in my opinion, very poor vfm as the watch seems to ship with a standard grade ETA2804 variant. For 1000 usd (no drop, MSRP) one can buy a beautiful Stowa Flieger, Marine or Antea with a top grade ETA that's costs double to purchase individually Vs a regular grade. Do yourself a favour, stay out of this drop and visit the stowa website instead of want to spend that kind of money on a watch!

AleskbI dont know what you're on about. The stowa flieger, marine and antea are exactly like this corum. Overpriced watches using very cheap parts to make.
I commented above how these watches are uninspiring and cheaply built and generally overpriced. The margins on these low cost of production watches must be huge.

TigerUKI recently purchased a Stowa flieger and nothing seems cheap to me. The top rated ETA costs 250 usd alone when purchased separately. Heat blued hands, pristine case brushing and finishing, visibly ways better than on my beloved Seikos (Alpinist and Sumo) and not so beloved Glycine Airman. Very nice even though inexpensive strap, superluminova C3 lume which is the most expensive, very nice mate dial. Again, please define "cheap components". I know the watch is assembled like 80% of lower tier brands and models these days, but strongly disagree with the "cheap components" claim, leading me to also question the "huge profit" related one.

TigerUK(about the "uninspiring" bit, that's of course the case if you have 0 interest for history and horology, and the fact that the flieger design is dated 1939, used during wwII, and since became one of the most iconic, produced and sold aviation watch design ever, not an aviation brand that doesn't have a flieger inspired design...)
