We've just received shipping confirmation from our vendor. Our order should be delivered to our warehouse this Thursday, and our team will be standing by to ensure that your individual orders are turned around as quickly as possible. Once everything is shipped, tracking confirmation emails will follow.
Expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 4/12 or sooner if something comes up.
We just touched base with our vendor, and there's been a delay on their Craftsman shipment. Craftsman is currently in the process of moving warehouses, so lead times have been longer than expected. Right now, our vendor expects to receive their order some time next week, but they are still working on getting some concrete dates for us. We'll be in regular contact and update the group the minute we get word back.
We understand that the additional wait time is undesirable. If you prefer not to wait for your order and want to have it cancelled, please reach out via the "Contact Support" button in your transactions page. https://www.massdrop.com/transactions
Expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 4/5 or sooner if something comes up.
Our vendor has informed us that inventory will become available to them within the next few days. They will be working hard to prepare this order for shipment and aim to send it from their location by the end of the week. We are currently trending for everything to be shipped out of our warehouse before the estimated ship date of 4/1.
Expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 3/29 or sooner if something comes up.
**EDIT: Pushing Date Out
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Craftsman 18-inch Breaker Bar and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 4/1.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 3/21.

How is this a "deal"? Wait until April for it to ship and pay the same price as I would if I went and picked it up at Sears? Come on Massdrop let's get some real deals up here.
This is a breaker bar.... Why would it even matter if it was made in the US. For tools with few moving parts folks in the US can go to Harbor Freight. For folks outside the US, why would you pay to ship a lump of metal that far?
deefourObviously people care, myself being one. Not everyone is the same, and some people have different beliefs. I personally will not support sears/craftsman because when they outsourced they kept prices the same as if it was US made.
DasPikeThis one is china made. you can still find the USA made ones if you shop the Craftsman Industrial stuff. I bought mine online in a set with a shorter breaker bar and a slide bar, all US made, but specifically "Craftsman Industrial". The China made stuff is notably thicker due to the lower grade steel used. They're heavier and bulkier, and for something like a breaker bar, where I'm putting significant force on it, I spend the extra money and buy US made. I'm not worried about the tool breaking, I'm worried about what my hand/body hits when the tool breaks. They can't replace that.
This is the one I got a year ago, but it looks like its no longer available: http://www.sears.com/craftsman-professional-use-5-piece-drive-tool-set/p-00948985000P?redirectType=SRDT
Search the part number and you may be able to find it elsewhere.

This. Exactly this for everyone else wondering why people still prefer USA quality when it comes to Craftsman.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know about the "Industrial" line!
