Howdy Everyone,
We must get at least 20 people in order for this drop to be successful. In hopes that we get there and to offer a little incentive for those on the fence we have dropped the final drop price even lower!
Cheers.
So after a colleague pointed it out to me, turns out that I’ve received VERSION 1 of the Crane, not V2 as was promised in this drop ! Does anyone else have this problem too?
Really goofy naming convention from Zhiyun. The only reason I replied is because it was kind of confusing seeing the drop info all show V2 and also seeing the 2 out there. I understand the difference now, but Zhiyun should rename the product. :/
Thanks for the clarification.
DittoboxThis is probably the number 1 most confusing aspect to this product and I agree with you 100%.
That being said the functional aspect of the product itself is excellent.
I just got mine! I will update on whether everything works and all the updates and setting up goes smoothly. I'm taking it out tomorrow for a test run. Here is everything unboxed: I got the crane with the dual grip handle.
Happy for the ones who got their crane, and supper pissed off at massdrop for sending me this non-sense email stating they need to back-order the item I purchased. They refund my money and invited me to wait for the next drop ... 1 month and you guys can't get right the number of purchased items?? As a "compensation", I'm offered a 25$ coupon to be used within a month ... can I use it on amazon???
Purchased the Crane on the last drop. It arrived (after about 45 days) and worked perfectly. I updated the firmware last week and it's been broken since. The motors go limp any time I try to tilt or roll past 45 degrees. Anyone else experienced this?
