Hello all,
I intend to use the E5 with a pair of bluetooth headphones that have a built in mic. Will the E5 pick up the bluetooth mic input and send it to my pc? Not very familiar with bluetooth technology, so I'd appreciate if anyone could clarify.

vdiggyMy understanding was that the bluetooth functionality is used to connect to a mobile platform, like an Android or iOS device. I'm not sure you can use it to connect to a wireless microphone or headphones, or if you'd even get any benefit from it. Bluetooth is a digital signal. You can't transmit an amplified analog audio signal through bluetooth. Just get a bluetooth receiver for your computer.

BetaWolfI guess I figured as there are aptx featured headphones, they would naturally pair with the E5. But, like you stated, that would just be an unnecessary intermediate step.
Thank You for the clarification!

vdiggyYou asked if Bluetooth headphones could connect to the E5... They can't, at least not directly, but if your audio source is a smartphone/tablet or if you have a Bluetooth transmitter for your PC, then you could just pair with that. I like to think of the E5 as a way to connect (and amp) wired headphones to a Bluetooth source. Hope that helped!
