Thanks for the tip. I followed it and placed my order. I live in Canada, so it was $237 + $10 shipping, and then I found a $10 discount code. Coming from Hong Kong. Ordered it on Thursday said it would arrive on Tuesday, considering its a long weekend here that's really good. They promise no import charges. I usually get charged from DHL and UPS import charges. For the price and shipping someone in the states can get it for $227 that blows the K7XX into Kingdom come. Just saying.

TerrschiHey buddy, I'm back and currently listening to the AKG K712... oh sweet watermelon... the pairing is very nice. I was hesitant to really open em up, what I mean is, to switch 'em from normal gain to high gain on the X7, but really I just did it... and that is what they needed, these things are hungry. They sound incredible, clear, and the sound stage is very nice and open. The bass sounds clean and not over powered, which I like, I always like the clean sound, and this pairing has that. AAHHHH! It's awesome. I am sure there are other pairings out there that would work but to me this works just fine. The K712's are very comfortable. Oh, and I try not to listen with the SBX, since I don't like too much added processing, however it's not bad, since it does add more dimension, but the high gain does the job. SBX gives it really Punchy sound.
I did have to turn the Mic in/Mic array off in the mixer since the mic by default is on, and when I had the headphones plugged in, I could hear feed back from my typing in my headphones, I thought it was cool and I thought I was tripping a bit, but then I figured it out. You won't be disappointed, with the sound and then you can tweak it to your liking. Options galore. I have the X7 paired with the E-MU speakers and with the higher amp power bar, and the speaker pairing sound amazing too. For the price the set up is a BEAST!

Finger11Yea you are right, but I live temporarily in the US and will move back in 3 months to Germany.
I need in addition to the x7 the BT-W2 USB Transceiver, and both for 300$ is awesome. I would pay 400$ if I would buy both at Amazon now. I will wait until mid of July...and if they don't launch the drop I buy it in Germany.
