I've been hemming and hawwing (is that even how you would spell that? Lol) on picking this or the HyperX Cloud II headset. I've heard this one has a better/longer lasting mic and an Equalizer setting via the usb which the HyperX lacks. Anyone care to chime in with some information on either front? Either way, cheers!
BPlazI have used both the Cloud II and this product and have offered both of them to the Massdrop community. That being said I very much prefer the Creative H7 over the Cloud II. To me they are more comfortable and have a better range. Also the additional features in the app are pretty cool. Outside of the EQ settings which are great there is also a Scout Mode that is great for FPS play. You can hear people walking from greater distances and directional sound is much improved.
Tex-Arozzidude i really want this headset but the video said there's humming make me cancel the order can u confirm if this headset mic not humming ? my pc ground was ok i have ups so i will hate it if there's humming
BPlazyes both h5 and h7 tournament edition have ground loop noise problem on their mic by some reason. i have h5 tournament edition and it have the worst kind of ground loop noise on its mic from the start. i did claim it once, the company sent me a new one in 2 weeks later but sadly the problem still the same. one of my friend have h7 tournament edition and he told me he also have the same problem.
some people may say it is my fault that not have ground my pc proper. but i living in the old house plus on the 2nd floor, grounding it is impossible. more than that in these days there are other brands that not have ground loop noise on their mic or they was fixed it long time ago such as Logitech, hyper x (since stinger model), sennheiser, steel series (the worst it can be is just a low quiet hum sound).
