I'll go ahead and write a small review piece after owning for a few days. To start off, this thing is LOUD. At half volume it is still almost too loud for my room. I did notice some static/distortion in the higher frequencies at higher volume, and I kind of think it's pushing too high of a range of frequency to the tweeters(not an expert), but nothing that's a deal breaker. It's surprising how much volume you can get out of the tiny sound bar. Using a 'Natural' EQ is a bit disappointing as it doesn't really feel like a natural balanced EQ, but it really shines when using the added Immersion and Crystalizer settings in the Acoustic Engine in the software, which bring the higher frequencies to a more full crisp feeling and widens the sound stage(I assume that's what the Immersion setting does). I found the default bass setting was too high so I set it to a more pleasant -3. Though I guess it's that high for when you're immersed in a game.
To the cons, the main problem I have is the lighting setting inside the Sound Blaster Connect software. It still feels a bit unpolished. When you make a lighting preset, it applies itself to the sound preset you currently have it set to, but I have found that often when shutting the Katana on/off, it will forget what lighting preset it was set to, and sometimes even erases your custom lighting preset, replacing it with the default rainbow wave. Other than that, I don't have much of a problem with the product, and have been happy so far.
