Does anyone know how to use the speakers while there is something plugged in the line out? I have headphones that i want to use but i would have to plug it in and plug it out when i want to use the speakers. Is there anyway to keep it plugged in while using the speakers?

Tex-ArozziCurrently there's no way to do this. But our engineering is looking into possible solutions. I'll update here if there is any progress.

DigitalRonynHas there been any progress on this topic?
I plugged in a short audio extension cable into the Katana's headphone jack to make disconnecting my headphones easier. I also hoped that when my headphones were disconnected from the extension cable the Katana would switch back to speaker output. Alas, no joy.
Is it just the physical presence of something (anything?) plugged into the headphone jack that causes the output to switch from speaker to headphone or is there some sort of electrical detection going on? If the former, then there's no way to change this behaviour. If the latter, then there may be hope.
I guess I could test this by shoving a thin wooden or plastic rod into the jack ...

sozoYeah this is my only complaint on the katana thus far. I love it because I added a short cable for the USB computer connection and can quickly change between my desktop (home/gaming) and my work laptop - kind of like a sound docking station and I love that it also has a mic input so no need to swap my mic all the time. But its really annoying when I get a call to try and quickly plug in my headphones with the jack in the back :(

DigitalRonynAny update on this matter? I was blown away by the quality of this product but it is such pain in the ars when it comes to plug the headphones in and out.
