Anyone else getting "popping" when using the optical inputs? This started happening the other day and only happens when I output with Dolby Digital. When I output using the optical without Dolby, I don't have the popping. Turning off the soundbar and turning it back on fixed this issues for a few hours. The happens if the optical input comes from my TV or Xbox one. I don't think it is a hardware issue but I have no idea how to fix it. I've cleaned the optical cable and input/output ports with compressed air.
zloafHey there Zloaf, this is the first I've seen this reported. If you continue to have this issue please contact me directly at socialmedia@creativelabs.com as I'd like to get some more information from you.

DigitalRonynI sent an email and added 2 suggestions for featueres I would love to see in a firmware update. Basically, I want to be able to control the bass and LED presents from the device itself. The remote is nice but my toddler keeps losing it and being able to fully control the katana without a PC would be really helpful (also maybe a smart phone remote app).
zloafGot your mail and have already forwarded to my engineering team. I'll keep you posted on any of these features being added. As I've said in other places we're always listening to feedback and like with our E5 and X7 products have added features through firmware updates. Thanks again for the mail!

DigitalRonynThen if we are adding things. Can we get a basic Eq that can be controlled from the touch bar similar to what older cars have. Just a simple treble, bass, mid option? I thought I would use this under my monitor but it has found a home in the living room (too loud for the office) and we listen to a ton of music on it and with a toddler I cannot leave the remote lying around so have to use the button to adjust things. PS. The toddler loves the rainbow wave effect.
