I'm an avid motorcyclist and motorcycles are very sensitive to tire pressure. I was sold on this product until I saw it requires a tool to install and remove the cap. I adjust the air in my tires before every ride and with brake rotors, ABS sensors, brake calipers, chain, and sprockets in the way, I can't imagine it being practical to use a wrench to remove the valve stem caps.

How does this stop crimes exactly? If I had a dollar for every valve stem cover that has been stollen off of my car I'd have enough money to buy another set of valve stem covers for someone to steal.

So the kit looks great but I cant' find any info on the PSI limit or communication range. I'd love something like this for my trailer but my tire pressures are supposed to be set for 80 PSI and I think if these were on the trailer it might be too far for the receiver to pick up the signal. Anyone know the answer? Great buy for someone with a passenger car truck or SUV. All my toys are a little heavy for this sadly. Everyone enjoy your weekend.

What happens when the battery on the valve caps dies out? It doesn't look like batteries are included, nor does it look like there's a way to charge the battery.

DisplayErrorAccording to some reviewers on amazon it is possible to change the batteries in the caps, and they last for 1 - 2 years. I imagine it comes apart and houses a little button cell.
