Having carried a CRKT knife in the military, and deploying three times with my CRKT M16, I can attest to the durability of their knives. I still have that knife and my Kershaw. I broke several SOG and Gerber knives during that same time. So personally I buy Kershaws and CRKTs because I know they hold up in absolutely terrible conditions.
