While you can take off the thumbstud and switch which side it's on, the stud has a flattened portion on the barrel that indexes a flat side of the hole, meaning the stud will be upside down. Now, if you really, really wanted to, you could carefully file down a flat portion on the barrel on the opposite side and fit it, but if you want to use a clip, there are no holes drilled for left-handed carry.
