I read thru most of the posts before committing myself to write. When I first saw this, it strongly reminded me of the Kershaw Leek. (Also a KO design.) An entry level Leek can be had for just a bit more money. It has better steel, 14Cr28N, and is assisted opening. I have several and really like the Leek. I like the looks of this knife. The AUS-8 is decent steel. CS does very well with the HT. I am not so sure about CRKT. If I were to choose between these two, I would definitely go with the Leek. But I don't have to choose. I highly suspect that I will be getting one of these. I have one knife with this bearing system. It works well, but I have not done anything dirty with. I don't know if IKBS are currently caged. Taking a knife apart with this bearing system could result in the massdropping of these ceramic spheres and you helplessly watching them scatter to the four winds.....er, floors? Some reviews have stated that CRKT lacks good QC for this bearing. If I really need to abuse a knife, I will pick up one of my $10-20 Schrades or a fixed blade. I don't think that getting this one dirty would be a good idea. I'm going to put this on the back burner for 24 before deciding.
