The M16 series from CRKT features basic, easy-to-use knives without excess features—great for those who prefer a bare-bones everyday carry that gets the job done. Each one is equipped with a 12C27 stainless steel blade and a Carson Flipper, which grants quick blade deployment and doubles as a blade guard in the open position. The handle on each is made from stainless steel that’s been hollowed out for weight reduction. To lock the blade, there’s a frame lock. No matter what type of carry you prefer, the M16 has you covered: It features drilled holes to support carry four different ways. The main offering in the drop is the M16-02 Tanto or the M16-03KS Spear-Point, but you can upgrade to the larger M16-04KS Reinforced Tanto at checkout.
Note: At checkout, choose between the M16-02KS Tanto, M16-03KS Spear-Point, and M16-04KS Reinforced Tanto (+ $10). Quantities of each are limited to 40 units. Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we can only ship this knife to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
After growing up an avid hunter and fisherman in the mountains of Georgia, Kit Carson spent more than 30 years in the army, reaching the level of master sergeant. His experience in the outdoors and in the armed forces heavily shaped Carson’s views on knife design. In 1993, Carson became a full-time knifemaker and eventually became a voting member of the Knifemakers’ Guild until his passing in 2014. Never one to follow the crowd, Carson believed in function over aesthetic, a trait derived from his background that can be found in the majority of his work.
