Now, Lerch steps into the world of combat with his latest design, the Pineapple: a compact EDC flipper inspired by a pineapple hand grenade. But to label this knife fruity, would be the furthest thing from the truth. The drop-point blade—though it measures just 2.6 inches—comes in handy where you need it. It’s got a wide belly for slicing and a fine point for detail work, which is made even easier by choking up with the choil. The handle, where the knife gets its name, is made from glass-reinforced nylon with crossing grooves. It’s relatively thick, too, for added control. Carry the folder by way of the ambidextrous clip.
