Hi dear vendor , I want to participate this spring assisted pocket knife but I am not sure about the laws here in Turkey if we are allowed to import this knife . I wonder if , if I purchase this pocket knife can you write on the shipment package as custom declaration as it is “ Kitchen Item “ . I did purchase from Amazon and the seller had declared as it is “ Kitchen Item “ and with any problem I had received the package as non uponed way by the Turkish Custom Authorities. If it is possible please answer me here ASAP before the sale come an end before 24 hours in order to be able to participate the campaign. Very many thanks indeed

Caveat emptor. Spring assisted knives are probably a no-go to Canada.
The Canadian Criminal Code wording on prohibited knives is exactly this:
(84)(1)(b) "any knife that has a blade that opens automatically by gravity or centrifugal force, or by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device attached to the handle of the knife.
Also, the CBSA has been confiscating all sort of knives including Spyderco (because of the hole that allows one-hand opening, FFS!) and even fixed-blade karambits because the ring at the end could be used as a ”knuckle duster”... I am crapping you negative.
Tread lightly, my fellow Canuckistanians, and remember that the gubmint knows what’s best for you!

Droid1963Spring assisted is (or at least was) acceptable as long as it is not activated by a button, toggle, sliding bolster, etc. On the scale or frame of the knife. You can buy this knife in Canada. You can buy Kershaw Speedsafes etc. no problem. At issue is a new interpretation but hopefully things will settle down soon. I’m like 20 for 20 shipments through since the decision. (Hoping I didn’t just curse that.)

Did Steigerwalt also design the WE 620?
They are dead ringers for one another

I'd give this one a miss team... I purchased the Radic on the last drop and it's shown up with design flaws. The thumb stud to deploy the blade is to shallow and you can't get a contact point on it. Additionally the pressure from the frame lock on the blade causes to much friction and the spring assist opening does not work either.

8Cr13MoV. Ugh. People, please. So many good designs, devastated by butter knife steel.

I might have considered this knife if the clip could be moved for tip up carry.
