I own the CRKT CR2910-BRK Hisshou. While I understand this was made for EDC - I was incredibly disappointed for the money how cheap the plastic escutcheon at the top of the grip is, along with visible glue and such. Came in a beautiful box, and it's a beautiful blade - topped with cheap plastic. This looks similar. .

HexCowboyThis knife is supposedly designed for combat. I do not think I would want a cord wrapped handle if I was going to use it that way though. They are trying to keep the traditional look (pretty) but for a working knife there has to be better options.

ponagathosFully agree. I stopped buying CRKT products after the design choices they keep making. The blades however are beautiful and seem extremely well made. The setups surrounding them are suboptimal. I go primarily with TOPS blades these days.

ponagathosit has a cord wrapped handle.which id want when there are conditions that would make a grip slip. over any type of plastic..or hard rubber. not sure why people are saying any part of the grip materials are plastic..all three in this line have imitation rayskin under a traditional cord wrap all the way around the end where a but ccap ( kashira ) would be several posters have said was plastic..is not.. .the only plastic ive seen on these high end Williams blades are the kydex sheaths. ..
