Born and raised in the backwoods of Oregon, Eric Ochs has carried a knife since he was just 6 years old. After years of carrying, he trained himself to design, and the Terrestrial is a good example of his talents. Highly ergonomic, the shape of the Terrestrial is designed to support multiple grips, whether your choking up and using the finger choil or resting back on it for cuts that require more power. The blade is easy to sharpen and corrosion resistant as it’s made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. As for the handle, it’s crafted from textured G-10, and houses a liner lock to secure the blade. The tip-up clip is designed for righties, offering deep carry with just a smidge of the tapered handle showing when concealed.

Invented in 2002 by knifemaker Flavio Ikoma and Rick Lala of Korth, the Ikoma Korth Bearing System revolutionized the opening mechanism of many EDC folders. Utilizing a cageless design, the system features loose ball bearings arranged in a small groove around a pivot bar and held in place with washers, eliminating blade play and allowing a smooth, fast action. Because the small bearings are inexpensive, the system is easy to maintain and replace, unlike many other opening mechanisms.
