Designed by Knifemakers Guild member Jim Hammond, the Williwaw is a smooth-opening flipper with an eye for flair. The first thing you’ll notice is its intricately engraved handle. Made from stainless steel, it sports curved grooves throughout like wings on a hawk, which make it easy to grasp. The next thing you’ll notice is the drop-point blade. Turn the knife back and forth and it will gleam thanks to the satin finish. Built with an IKBS pivot system, the Williwaw opens quickly with a simple press on the flipper tab. Rounding out the folder is the tip-down clip, created to match the gritty finish on the handle.

A member of the Knifemakers Guild since 1978, Jim Hammond was the first ever custom knifemaker chosen to collaborate with CRKT. After gaining recognition for his simple, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional designs, Hammond helped develop the SEALTAC tactical knife in 1981, which to this day is one of the most widely used tactical knives in military conflicts around the world. Presently, he continues to produce military- and collector-grade knives operating out of his home state of Alabama.
