The ball moves smoothly, can traverse large distances quickly and easily, but can also point very precisely at lower speeds.
I especially like the weighty feeling of the balls inertia when moving more rapidly as I find it feels very, very good in my hand.
I find the lack of buttons to be pretty limiting, so I am going to have to stop by the local electronics supply store on my way home from work tonight (I have the 5W version).
