Lifelong motorcycle rider and racer Enrico Margaritelli has certainly found his niche in the world of watches. Incontestably inspired by racers of old, the Dashboard borrows from some of the most legendary autos ever created—many of which Margaritelli grew up around. With a large speedometer-style dial and a crown located at 6 o’clock to further solidify the clean symmetrical look, the Dashboard is a statement of speed and precision. The movement is Ruben & Sons CS00MD3G 21-jewel automatic, which is on unabashed display on the back of the case. Never one to back down from his Italian heritage, Margaritelli has included the colors of the Italian flag on the back, too. Of course, as any speed racer should be, the Dashboard is constructed with high-quality materials like a stainless steel case and sapphire crystal.

You could say that watchmaking is in CT Scuderia’s bloodline. A third generation watchmaker, founder Enrico Margaritelli comes from a long line of passionate Italian craftsmen. His grandfather—his biggest inspiration—took up the trade in Parma, Italy making highly technical watch instruments for the military during the first and second World War. After catching the watchmaking bug at an early age, Margaritelli has chalked up an impressive resume working with brands such as Fossil, Emporio Armani, and Key West. He even helped design the first batch of watches for budding lifestyle brand, Shinola.
