6 Balanced Armatures for a Super Clean Sound

The most powerful, advanced custom in-ear monitor in the Clear Tune Monitors family, the CT-6E features six balanced-armature drivers. Each driver serves a purpose: to bring high-fidelity monitoring and purity of sound to a new dimension. Add a four-way crossover and an optimized frequency curve, and you have the cleanest listening experience on the market. Head-Fi user jelt2359 says, "Most interestingly, the CT-6E has an aggressive and holographic 3D sonic presentation to go with its large soundstage and beautiful layering and separation."

Note: At checkout, choose from a variety of shell colors and faceplate styles with a 48" or 64" cable in black or clear. The base price is for single colors; you can upgrade to any combination of multiple colors for $30 flat. As these are handmade to order, please expect a 4- to 5-week turnaround and note we cannot accept returns.

After the drop ends, you'll be responsible for having impressions made with an audiologist and sending them to Clear Tune Monitors in Orlando, FL (address will be provided). The vendor must receive tracking info on the impressions within 3 weeks of the drop completing, or the offer will be canceled and refunded—no exceptions or extensions.

Sound Impressions

The Head-Fi review continues, "The CT-6E is dry and refined. The mids can soar in the upper registers, but are generally a bit recessed, making for an interesting presentation that gains energy as the mids move into the higher registers. The mids remain very clear and detailed throughout, though with a great resonance that adds a bit of zing to the music. The bass and treble are more than adequate, though neither threaten to overwhelm with too much of a hump (bass) or sparkle (treble)."
