When you tap Cube, the reader sends rapid bursts of red, green, and blue light that detect minute changes in surface color, providing incredibly accurate readings in a matter of seconds. The calibration cap protects the aperture and calibration surface from impact, and the device’s size—approximately 2 inches on each side—makes it easy to pinpoint the exact color you want. (Think of it as a Photoshop Eyedropper Tool in real life.) Cube can store about 20 colors in its internal memory while you’re out and about, and has a handy three-color indicator for the status and battery level.
