Two questions.
1. What tool do I need to take apart the switches?
2. Would the actuaction points for tactile switches resemble the tests for clicky switches? In thinking of using these with Browns.

djensen47If the switches are already mounted to a PCB or a plate that allows removing the tops, then the easiest is the Switch Top Removal Tool from Mechanical Keyboards. If the switches haven't been mounted yet, then a pair of thin-edged flathead screwdrivers will work just fine. And if they are mounted with a plate that doesn’t allow removing the tops, then you get the joys of desoldering first.

cerementI can certainly vouch for that tool. Used it to install SIP sockets into all my switches on my Danger Zone keyboard, so I could add LEDs It REALLY works well, and isn't flimsy like some plastic tools can be!

cerementI second that tool. I initially used the bent binder clips which worked alright, but they would slip occasionally. These never slip which is a huge plus.
