I don't know about these; especially the bright colors and all---seems kind of trendy?
Might change my mind if I see Daniel Craig wearing one in the next Bond film...
Just read some comments here. In most cases you get what you pay for, here you don't even get the minimum expectation. I should mention that I hesitantly ordered a $30 strap from AliExpress, it was expensive given the general rates but when I received it I was very impressed. The quality of leather was excellent as was the finish, the deployant clasp it came with is sturdy and a very nice combo or brushed/polished. Don't knock the chinese quality too much, look for the reviewed items, there is some great stuff.
I would say that this is very bad for the price. I would NEVER buy from Da Luca again. The stap is so uneven cut it looks like it's cut by a five year old or maybe a five year old would cut it better than this. If I could get my money back give me them back. This is worth max $4. And if this is made in Europe maybe they should hire some Chinese.
Looks good from afar, quality is ok. I bought blue, sand, brown and green. If it was less than $5 each then I'll say its worth it.
The material is not worth the price sold... Very rough and cheap for the price these sold for with the drop.
It'll be a one time thing for me to buy perlon straps from de luca. Lesson learned
Yeah, I got mine a few days ago one in sand and PVD, the other in brown and polished.
First off, the material quality is good in my opinion.
Secondly, the weave is amazing.
However, there are some problems:
1. The PVD coating is preventing the pin on the bucle from moving, making it very hard to put in.
2. The finish of these straps is very rough. It literally scratches my skin when I wear it.
3. Trying to place the strap under the buckle proves to be an insurmountable task.
4. Some of the material is flaying off of the loop of the watch because the finish is bad.
Due to the above mentioned reasons I highly doubt these were made in a European country, because the quality seems to be Chinese crap.
If that's not the case then Europe has stooped to China standards and it is sad.
Don't buy this item, because it is the small details that make an item.
Just received mine. They’re okay at best. For some reason one of the two straps seems to be better made than the other. Definitely not the same quality as other perlon straps that I own, but these were more affordable so I sort of expected that. If you only have $20 to spend, I would recommend just getting one nicer strap over two okay ones.
Just bought a Crown and Buckle Linen Melange perlon strap and it's so damn nice. Just thought I'd share. This drop looks like a poor deal for a couple basic, solid colored perlon straps.
