Will green be available in the future? Thanks!
Rico
We never know what we will be able to offer as these colors are so hard to get, aside from black and color 8. If you see anything you like besides those colors, always snag them as we get just a few pieces, if that, and then none again for years. The lighter browns are extremely rare for us. We just offer them on here because MD customers are so generous with their orders with us. This is our way of saying thank you!

Thank you for the quick response!
Da-Luca -- regarding the colors, color#8, cigar, and mahogany. ... the pics all look the same, to me, sort of. Can you let me know which is darker, which is lighter, ,,?

Thanks!!! --- Honestly though, I don't know why I asked - I already joined and got one of each! Without a doubt, your Military Straps are the best I have ever found. They are great!!! I'm like a kid in a candy store every time I see them come up here......

We thank you! Enjoy.
how long is this strap? don't see that detail listed anywhere...
tobiasluke
270mm - one piece 300mm - military
What width of these strap do you recommend for 21mm lug width? 20mm or 22mm?
Windmaster
22mm won’t fit a 21mm lug width so a 20mm would be the best option of those two, but there will be a slight .5mm ish wiggle on each side due to the 1mm width difference.
DA-LUCA
FWIW - I have an Orient with a 21mm lug. The 20mm and the 22mm both seem to fit just fine. You can definitely see that the straps are different widths - but when they are on the watch, some kind of magic happens there and either one works fine...
Does anyone know what the length of these straps are? I bought one in an earlier drop but that one had an option to select different lengths, whereas this one seems to be one size.
Participated in this drop last time. Straps are thin, stretch and are not worth the $$, IMO

Yes they are

Thank you. I'm really enjoying my Chromexcel straps so far and think I'll try one of these also. Thanks for standing behind your product and answering all the questions. 👍👍
Received mine today. It is quite thick as i´ve expected, but fits my Hamilton Pilot Pioneer Auto Chrono without problem. Leather looks very durable and expensive, does not stretch even when pulled. Another nice thing, even my $150 Bulang and Sons strap needed some time to break in (to become comfortable), this is a spot on right from the box, very very comfortable to wear, and does not move or rotate around wrist even when set quite loose.
Satisfied.

Navy is available in this drop, enjoy.

Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing.
How thick is the one piece?
Bjossi
I just got mine delivered this week. I don’t have calipers handy but it’s pretty thick. I can’t slide it between the springbars and case of my Seiko sarb033. Have to place the strap and then snap in the bars. Kind of annoying. Strap is definitely high quality though. I’m thinking it’d work better on a Hamilton khaki with the longer lugs. (But I don’t have one to try).
Bjossi
They vary from 1.2mm-2.1mm in general. We tend to use the thinner areas for 18mm and 20mm wide straps and the thicker pieces for 22mm-26mm widths.
The description said I'd be asked NATO or Zulu style. During check-out when it never asked I contacted support which wasn't very supportive. They repeated the options I was asked and said they couldn't provide any more information, which is surprisingly unhelpful--after all I was trying to understand an option which the description specifically told me I'd be asked when checking out and wasn't. This is disappointing and the customer service was awful.
Out of curiosity, what happens if the item received is defective? is that on Massdrop or in this case DaLuca? first time purchase... maybe.
Mac11
There shouldn't be any issues but if there are, MD will generally not do much as the items are sold as is through them. We can take the issue and deal with it direct, Info@DaLucaStraps.com.
I wonder, is this the same quality item as normal Shell Cordovan straps from DaLuca (which cost 150 - 200$) or are these lower in standards of quality control etc?
Easa
Same quality. We are able to offer the lower pricing as the quantities are generally high enough from these drops to make it worth our time at the lower pricing. As always we back our straps if you hve any issues after you receive it even though MD has a final sale policy.
No polished silver option is a deal breaker for me

Thanks for the response! Just personal preference on what I would like to match

We completely understand. It’s extremely hard for us to offer the selection we do and keep all of these SKUs in stock so adding another finish into the mix is near impossible. If you need something custom made through our website we can gladly help and would love to. Info@DaLucaStraps.com
I'd like a NATO Navy shell.
FredMR
They are available through our website, www.DaLucaStraps.com
Here is an example of what the green Shell looks like in the wild.

I wish these came in a Teal Latigo Horween.
mcampos
Latigo is a different type of leather than Shell Cordovan

Lets not get hung up in details.
Looks so comfortabl—not!
It says the Venetian creme is an option for $9 but I can't see how to add it. Any help?
N0wh3r3_Man
It's included in your subtotal. I want to know how to remove it haha
Dezzuzu
They must have taken it out. It isn't showing in mine subtotal. Is there a way to add it?
Though horween leather is high quality, it will stretch at the thinness necessary for this style strap.
A better option is one made of kangaroo hide. The leather doesn't stretch nearly as much as others and is just as soft and supple.
Look into it, you'll see.

There you go with the details again!
Yes, you are correct, however the tensile strength of kangaroo is greater and with even less stretch.
Waiting, and wishing, and hoping , and praying you’d come back alive

Your wish is our command. We are back.
Received my zulu and attached it to a watch I backed on kickstarter. It looks good but I have two complaints: 1. the leather is thinner than I expected, I would argue a little too thin and 2. despite being #8 there's no red to the coloring, it just looks brown.

Ordered the one piece (Zulu) in #8. Leather is high quality and matcheswell with my shell Aldens. Thin and low profile, but definitely not flimsy (Unless you strap it to a watch the size of a hockey puck). Will definitely order again.

Looks good! I bought the same strap for my Airman DC-4 Purist right after finding your picture.
Shouldn't the secondary strap on the Nato be reversed so the more natural side is to the wrist? This way you have the coloured side to the wrist and it is just going to wear off in my mind. Anyone got comments or thoughts on this? Does it feel weird on the wrist that way?
Tasselhoff
We have not heard of any complaints or issues on this, from any of our customers in the past.
Tasselhoff
i have the chromexel version of their nato strap, which is the same way, and i didnt notice it until just now that you mentioned it.
I personally wouldn't go for this for $65. I got the Chromexcel at $40, and I wouldn't do it again.
My problems:
- The NATO/ZULU type strap just doesn't work well with leather because the leather has to be really thin to fit between the springbars and the watch case.
- The thinness of the leather makes the strap look flimsy, and it stretches.
- The straps are completely unworked or sewn or edge-sealed or anything, so they look cheap even when the leather is high quality leather.
- The strap, as thin as it was, wouldn't fit the watch I ordered it for, and when I put it on another watch I could really feel that the springbars were being put under pressure, especially if I tried to minimize the under-case air space between the leather and the case back.
If you do go for it, I would probably recommend the NATO over the ZULU because the double layer of leather on the top of your wrist may partially counteract the sense of flimisiness.
I know that others are satisfied with leather NATO/ZULU straps, but this is just my opinion.
Cloaca
Feel free to get in touch with us so we can do anything in our power to get that strap working on the watch you intended it for. We never want our straps on the sideline. The nato strap is not for everybody, but with that said they sure are a fun strap to wear and these are a similar thickness to our nylon nato straps or slightly thicker at most.
Info@DaLucaStraps.com
I Have large wrists, what is the length of these straps? The Daluca website has 270mm on some and 300mm on others.
richard256
NATO is the full 300mm version with the leather flap underneath and the 1 Piece (shorter version) is at 270mm long, and does not have the short leather flap underneath. For a larger wrist size we recommend the longer version.
Can you make a 23mm width NATO PVD strap in green? I’d like one for my Victorinox Infantry watch.

The website does not offer shell cordovan in green Nato and the custom option could be pricey. Guess I will have to pass this drop. Thanks for the offer.
Alex17
We only offer it as a made to order option on our site. Email us and we will try to make the pricing work for you with the strap you need.

Where can we see more photos of your straps with different watches ? I just got the glycine combat on massdrop and am thinking about getting one of your straps.

How thick is the leather?
Lee7sauce
Shell varies per hide and per section per hide. We generally use the thinner pieces for the 18mm and 20mm widths and then use the thicker pieces for the 22-26mm widths.

Legal reasons? What legal reasons?
GMarsh
Zulu is a trademarked term, so we call them 1 Piece NATO Straps instead.
