Has there been any rumors of a new round for this?

ValarisI talked to the designer recently. He said that while there is enough interest to run it again, Signature Plastics is just so backed up that it wouldn't be able to be shipped out in a reasonable time frame. He also said that he doesn't even think that SP is taking new orders right now. So not in the near future unfortunately :(

ddickensonYour best bet is probably to buy one used on r/mechmarket. You can often find really nice used sets. I would just post a buying request there, someone is bound to have a set they want to sell.

ddickensonI've been making those threads for a long time now without success.
That being said, the original designer did tell me he gave Massdrop permission to rerun the drop at their whim + with SP's recent decision to prioritize Massdrop, this could be good for this drop.

ValarisGood deal, because reddit pissed me off... I went and read the rules for posting in that market, thought I had everything right but then since I don't use reddit normally for anything but consuming posts it got cancelled before it even hit for "not enough posts" Whatever... I'll wait.

ValarisI'm being told that Danger Zone is on the schedule for a second run this year. Keep your eyes peeled. If you've "requested" a drop update on the right ---> then you should receive an email notice when the drop is live again.

ValarisI have no knowledge of our place in Massdrop's queue. I'll try to find out, but assume for the moment that a mid-year drop of Danger Zone would translate to an early 2018 delivery, based on historical data. The current backlog is bad for everyone. I'm hopeful that SP will make some changes this year.

DataThis is great news. I made an inquiry w/ SP ~ 6 months ago and the response was they did not have the designers permission to rerun. Based off the responses in the thread, this is no longer an obstacle. I barely missed the first drop. Looking forward to a second this year.

DataData, any update on roughly when Danger Zone round 2 will happen? I am assuming after SA Carbon and SA oblivion? The few set available on Massdrop in March was gone in 30 second. Apparently I was just not fast enough on clicking on the buy button... Really looking forward to this showing up this year.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
