feelgeorgeDanner are the real deal. They are American made and backed with one of the best warranties out there. They hail from Portland and are primarily enjoyed by enthusiasts who traverse and hike the outdoors and by military and LE. I have three pairs and they are all over ten years old. I wore a pair of Mountain Light II's which later would be worn by Bond in his latest installment. I wore them everyday (I know.. you aren't supposed to) for probably two years and I haven't applied anything to them to help keep the leather and they look and feel great. Some of the best built boots in the market and now that I am a civilian and can't get away with wearing military combat boots around without looking like a turd these really hit the spot. These are the benchmark of high end boots.
