Sorry for the update delay on this drop, and this is going to be a pretty big one.
We've been coordinating with Darn Tough on the wholesale order for this drop since the very beginning, and it has been a rather difficult process so far.
Darn Tough mistakenly submitted the order to the wrong warehouse to process our order, this lead to a delay of more than two weeks until we escalated our order to the head of customer support at Darn Tough. Once the order is rerouted to the correct warehouse and is ready for shipment, Darn Tough had the order shipped to the wrong address twice. To make the situation worse, Darn Tough is currently transitioning into a new inventory system, and they are unable to accurately track the movement of their inventory during this transition, so they did not realize the order did not ship complete until we tried to receive the shipment in our warehouse.
We were just informed by Darn Tough that they have prepared the rest of the order, and they were shipped on Friday. In the meantime, they would like to take responsibility of the series of hiccups that happened along the way, causing the substantial delay. To make up for this delay, Darn Tough would like to offer everyone affected an additional pair of socks. This will be prepared in a separate shipment, and we will ship them out to everyone once this shipment arrives our warehouse.
