BrainFlushYou probably want something from the running lineup instead (#1772, 1437, 1722, etc.). These are more of hiking/general purpose socks for cold to warm weather, although I live somewhere where it gets past 100F for several months, and they're fine. You should buy a few pairs of these anyway; you won't regret it!

BrainFlushYou could head down to your local REI and buy a single pair to try. If the socks don't meet your performance and comfort requirements, return them. I haven't personally used these in 110F weather yet or anything close, but I do think they're great socks and worth a try.

eksuenI've used them for Hiking in the Phoenix heat and they are awesome. I'm not a runner, though. I can tell you they are my favorite hiking socks. I have even worn them with sandals and hiked ten miles in a creek several times with these socks and they stay in great shape! I live near SLC and wear these for hiking in the snow, too. Granted, I do have good boots but my feet don't get cold unless it is VERY cold. Merino wool works great for sweaty feet. I think you would like them more than the cotton bulk socks you are buying. Costco offers merino wool hiking socks for women that I wear for everyday socks. But for hiking and backpacking, I love the Darn Tough socks.

BrainFlushMerino socks, especially Darn Tough, work wonders when wicking moisture away from your feet. I've never had a damp or moisture issue with these, unless it was because I had accidentally stepped in a puddle but even then they're quick to dry

They look great. And I'll be honest. I buy my socks from Costco. Every 5 years. Basic AF. But they work. Now...
I'm always looking to improve myself through better products. These look solid and sound incredible.
Wide feet and I'm always sweating after 90f while in running shoes for 8 hours or more. Anyone recommend these or do I need to keep looking while I use my bulk socks until I find the right pair?
