planb101131/4 socks are not typically worn with boots unless you don't need the socks to to at least be as high as the boots. Measuring my 1/4 socks, the cuff height is about 1.5 inches which isn't enough for the boots that I wear. However, boots is a generic term so I guess if you have boots that are low enough, they might work but YMMV.

planb10113Just got mine. The leg section on them is really short. May even struggle to clear some shoes. they only just cover the ankle. I don't know why I didn't realise as the photo's seem clear, but I would not have bought them

wfdTamarI ordered both Large and XL since I'm a 12 and on the cusp of sizing up. I'm glad I did. The XL fit a bit better and are high enough to clear my boots. I've sent the other L's back to Darn Tough to exchange for a size larger. Got love that warranty!
