I used to want one of these. The keycaps are horrendous and would need instant replacing. Not USB 3.0. I know it's a professional keyboard but backlighting would be nice. Unless you're a hardcore Das Keyboard fine there are so many better options at the same price and mostly lower.

Komplexx2I feel the same way. I used to think this was the height of mechanical keyboards but I've learned a lot since then about what my tastes are and this isn't it at all.

Komplexx2I found a blank keycap version this drop's predecessor (DAS3-ULTIMS) of this sitting dusty on a shelf at work. A co-worker explained that nobody wanted it and I could have it if I could type without keycap legends (and laughed) . I put a beautiful set of keycaps and o-rings on it, lubricated the stabilizers and now it is one of my favorites. It is my primary work keyboard at this point. I ended up spending as much for the keycaps and o-rings as buying a whole new mechanical keyboard... LOL Of course the DAS3 uses real cherry switches, not the Greetech.
