OnslashEdit: actually , the drop version does appear to have printed keycaps, which is odd, because their site advertises laser engraved caps, and the one I own has those.

LensArmstringmaybe different production batch? i got mine on 2014 i think or 2015. so yours is laser engraved and the legends are painted white? because for example ducky laser engraved are just laser engraved and the text appears the same color as the keys it self

LensArmstringmy ruler is completely red. the newer ones with a bit of grey on the ruler has laser etched legends it looks like.

OnslashInteresting thing I've noticed: the product page for this model still shows the legends as they are on mine, bu the thumbnail it has on the product directory shows the new legends, as sold here. I'm still not fully convinced they're printed. The description here doesn't specify either one, and it's perfectly feasible to have a uv coating on the keycaps to protect the requisite infill material from staining.
