The ONLY downside to this keyboard is the key caps. They get shiny very fast on the ultimate and the legends wear of quickly on the professional. They need to release key sets that are PBT blank and PBT doubleshot.

UncleMusketAgreed, I have several of these at home and at work and the legends are starting to fade. Would be very nice to get PBT keys as an option, though I think I'll just end up buying a keycap set and swapping them out myself. Something I've been meaning to share with Das Keyboards is that I would love to see removable cable on the keyboard end, like what you see on a lot of custom boards.

OliverVIf you know of an exact fit key set that is blank and PBT I would love to hear where I can buy them. I've bought these for home, work and many others at work and they all have the same complaints. Too bad because this keyboard is the best one made in my opinion, as someone who has owned hundreds of keyboards I'm at least an experienced enthusiast.

UncleMusketI bought these PBT caps for my Ultimate: http://www.geekkeys.com/geekkeys-black-blank-thick-pbt-full-keyset/ They are Cherry profile so not an exact match, but I love them. The Ultimate already felt solid, but with these thick caps it feels even more substantial.
The only negative was that several of the keys had some noticeable white residue (I was pissed). However wiping them down with a cloth dampened with a VERY small amount of silicone spray (think armorall conditioner) and they look terrific now. Deep black.
