5 years, 1300 requests, and counting. Will we ever see this again?

What can we do to get this back into production? 1200 requests seems pretty serious. Massdrop should pursue this by contacting Das....."We have 1200 people ready to buy this one keyboard, are you thinking what we're thinking?"

logitech69I reached out to Das Keyboard directly, and they have very limited stock of refurbished versions of these. I paid $129 for them. They only come with a 90-day hardware warranty, but I asked and they said that they are virtually new, they haven't been used by a customer. Person I spoke with was Summer Munoz at the Das Keyboard helpdesk

I'm so happy I got this unicorn. It was originally purchased for me by my previous company at my request and when I left the company I told them that I wanted to buy it off of them. They ended up selling it to me for $95 (it was used exclusively by me). Which is a great price considering the original cost, plus international shipping plus import fees and duties came out to over $250 :-)

I wonder if the plate suports switch-top opening. I'm guessing I doesn't, like most OEM boards do.

ealiagachCorrect, it does not. But that doesn't mean you can't use a Dremel and turn it into a plate that supports it. :3

Much interest in getting one of these keyboards. What does it take to get a drop live? It said the last run was limited to 57 keyboards... this presently has 377 requests...
Let's DO this! Want one of these sweet beasts on my desk @work.

I got mine on the last drop and it's everything I wanted. I love the Das Keyboards, and this is my 3rd, and I really wanted the 4 in Clears, so great.
My one gripe is that the stabilizer inserts appear to be glued in. Which means I need to get a new set of stabilizers for all the large keys (shift, tab, enter, backspace, etc...) when changing keycaps. If one isn't changing keycaps, then this point doesn't matter, but if one is, then keep that in mind.

shura0107I had a standard dk4 and the inserts weren't glued in. I swapped keycaps without issue. It could have been something necessary for the White switches if yours were indeed glued.

Sweet! Mine came in Monday. NYC.
Be forewarned, the box actually says "MX Brown Switch," but there is an additional sticker that says "Cherry MX Clear Switches." It definitely has clears, I promise! Typing on it right now. Feels great.

So why is it exclusive? Is it because Das is not available in Clears?
