So I recently ended my year long search for a new mech keyboard ... I was looking at this board for awhile, but I needed backlighting for gaming. I love the minimal look of the board and the lack of logitech-esque HUD lcd panels, or graphics spewed across the board, or even multi colored/diamondplate keycaps ... BUT I absolutely love standalone multimedia functions - I often run a music player in the background while I play games - I hate messing with function multi key presses just to skip or pause a song. I also love the large singular piece used to tilt the board, not the shitty little plastic feet that 99% of all boards come with these days.
I really wanted a board with mech keys, standalone multimedia controls and RGP backlighting. After much deliberation, I decided on the Corsair K70 ... but instead my wife got me the Razor Blackwidow Chroma v2. Oh man I love it, but I'm pissed the keycaps don't have LED pass-through for the Fn media control hotkeys ...

KilsimivConsidering this isn't an all Vegas styled keyboard here at all. If you want trashy lights, best to go with the other makes.

ElrickTrashy lights? Preferences bud. Half of DAS's keyboards feature white backlighting. I like having the RGB lighting programmed differently for typing and for gaming. I'm not saying the strobe of rainbow bullshit that people show off when they get a new RGB board. Fuck that noise. I like the clean look of the DAS 4 and the wheel definitely makes it unique - but I like the lighting.
