First time i'm seeing the TKL with cherry switches. I thought they were all with Greetech switches. Might take this up.

KinRuanMeanwhile, i'm here enjoying the code clears that i got because the previous run of the 4C clears didnt' meet its goal. Funny how it all pans out.

NavasYeah, you learn to be patient after a while. For me, I ended up ordering a CODE keyboard with MX Blues because the Browns that I wanted sold out. FOMO, I guess. Then, later, the same keyboard came up again, and with plenty of Brown keyboards available.
Bummer, because I found out that I really don't like the feel of the MX Blues as much as some of the other clone Blue switches on my other boards. Should have been patient and skipped it, and waited for what I really wanted.
I'm going for this one here. While I'm ambivalent about MX Clears, I do like them well enough if they are in a heavy keyboard, and after they've become smoother after some months of use.
The DAS keyboard are fairly solid and heavy, so I'm banking that the Clears in this keyboard will be something I like.

K.T.NI know what you mean. I did get the Code Clears due to the exact same situation you just mentioned. I must mention that i do like the clear switches quite a bit. They were stiff at first, but have since worn in to my daily usage. And you should know that Code keyboards are well constructed( read: potential weapons).
I have used the 4c with the Greetech switches. The ergonomics was decent but i couldn't get used to the switch overall - felt too scratchy. I think any MX switch would do this board justice. Shame Das took their customers for granted when this came out. I think you'll like this when the keys are smoother. Just have to grind the first few months out.
I would ideally like to use my greens at work, but i'll probably get thrown out due to the noise. My Browns are just gathering dust. Only thing i have to learn is to type without bottoming out. I have that bad habit of banging the keys in. Old club hands.

NavasI'm typing on a brown now with dampeners, which seemed to help the bottoming (though it does make it feel a little "spongier")

NavasYes, though I got mine from Massdrop: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/17470 (also have a package of Blue Cherry o-rings I bought direct from WASD, yet to put on my Das 4 Ultimate with blue switches at work)
