I've always wanted a DAS (model #4, professional) but I've always been put off by the location of the volume dial. I really, really like volume dials because they permit much faster and precise volume adjustments. But, it just doesn't make sense to have the dial all the way over on the right side. It makes more sense to position the dial in the center so you can reach it easily with either hand, instead of forcing the user to abandon the mouse with their right hand or reach across the keyboard longways with their left hand. O_0 Anyone else feel me on this? Worse, this model uses a tall, narrow volume dial, so you actually have to precisely grab it with your fingers rather than just half-assedly slide your finger or palm across a dial. Combined with the proprietary switches and keycaps, this model 50Q is buuuuuuuuuust. DAS needs to stop trying to reinvent the wheel (unless it's the volume wheel).
