I missed this drop. Will there be another one, or will this be for sale somewhere?
Is there a 60% version available? I wanted to get one of these for my Anne Pro 2. :)
lava
Same here, would love a 60% version!!
Well, this is nowhere near High-Pro
This should fit the EOTW version as well, right?
kometsu
No, I don't exactly know why, but the EOTW top plate is apparently not compatible with either the Lo Pro or Hi Pro bottoms. See here: https://olkb.com/planck?category=hi-pro, the red and green chart shows all compatibility with the different bottoms and plates.
Is the tall lid too tall to be a wrist rest?
Wauss
I think it depends on the way you use wrist rests. The wrist rest is higher, but theoretically your keycaps will also be higher.
I wanted to add some pictures to this, since the pictures on the massdrop page are sorta hacked together. They didn't have a rev 6 planck to put into the case when the pictures were taken.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the taller lid, but it will be taller by about 1/4". Hopefully the first image gives people an idea of how deep the caps sit into the case. It's very much similar to Jack's Hi-Pro style of cases on olkb.com
What’s the difference between the regular and tall lid? Will the regular lid fit a normal dsa keyset?

Sculpted SA or just uniform? If sculpted that’s awesome!
Long_QT_Pie
Sculpted will fit.
Come on! Which moron assembled this planck? And the photographer did not even see the reverted "N'-key? ;)

I just received my Datamancer case and it works as advertised. The fit between the cover and the base isn't as snug as it could be, it has a very slight wobble, and the magnetic inserts look rushed. Annoyingly enough it didn't come with extra screws like the overview said it would, so I'm down a set of screws for the other case I swapped out for. Though the price is steep, I get the privilege of having a nice all-in-one plank keyboard. (If you're reading this Datamancer, I want them screws.) Edit: The wrist mount magnetically sticks a little farther to the left than it should.

I just got mine (shipping to FIN took a while with a quick stop at the customs office). For some reason the cover attaches about 2 mm to the left when used as a wrist rest. I have no clue why since the magnets on the sides themselves are well in alignment. EDIT: On a closer look, the side magnets appear to be about 1 mm on the right side, so the cover ends up slightly on the left when used as a wrist rest. Doesn't bother me though - I think it's well in my personal tolerances. :) /EDIT Otherwise, the case is absolutely wonderful, 10/10. Now I just have to wait for OLKB to ship the pcb and plate to finish this.

Email me and I can get you some screws. Marketing@datamancer.com. As far as the misalignment of the magnetic wrist rest, it might be something that is within tolerance, but I will look into the issue.
Will this fit the new Rev 6 PCB???
distracteddev
Yes it does!
How many of the screws come with this/if I only have a Planck PCB, hi-pro top plate, switches, keycaps, and proper USB cable will I be able to use my case properly? Like will I need any extra standoffs or anything else?
Preonic?
wood is highly awesome for tactile feels
Is it hot-swappable?

Is it compatible with the products on this link? https://olkb.com/planck?category=hi-pro
Young_Won
Yep, that's the one!
If I'm reading it right it would be compatible with the Massdrop x OLKB Planck Mechanical Keyboard Kit, but it doesn't look like it would fit. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/55792
To clear up any confusion. The side profile pic (4 of 12) is a photoshopped image of a lo-pro Planck set on top of this case. Massdrop did not have any Hi-Pro Plancks available for photography. The keycaps will sit much lower than is pictured in that image. As far as the profile of keycaps that will fit; it should fit most keycaps that are NOT SA profile. SA Profile caps will *sorta* fit, in that the lid will close, but the keycaps will be depressed when the lid is closed.
EDIT: I think the last time Massdrop had a drop for the Planck keyboard kit, they had both Lo-Pro and Hi-Pro options. EDIT 2: It is important to note that Lo-Pro and Hi-Pro Plancks have different plate sizes, and this case will not fit a Lo-Pro Planck plate. https://olkb.com/planck has some information on this.
I would looove anything similar for a let's split !
That lid isn't going to fit over those caps. In fact, unless that plate is mounted incorrectly, I'd be surprised if it even fit over oem caps.

The pictures are somewhat inaccurate since the keyboard will sit much lower in the case. See my comment above for an explanation!
any chance the lid could fit on with low profile G20 caps?
baesex
Are G20 caps wider than regular caps? I'm pretty sure the height wouldn't be a problem.
Datamancer
Thank you for clearing up the issue with the misleading pics
A "high profile" 'floating' key design seems like a big waste... especially on a unit where the lid is likely to go on and off semi-frequently... which means the keycaps/switches are even more vulnerable than they already are in a 'floating' design.

Pic 4 of 12... i swear someone left that in there just to trigger us c:

definatly the N, I think it's upwardsdown on the other pictures too. Is it possible that the person taking photos didn't even notice?...
The photographer heard that N key rollover was important
