Just received my case, is this normal? Not sure if a wood chipped off or it's suppose to be like this? something just seems not right to me since the base layer of wood (appears black in the pic) is so so thin..

HugoVI have the same sorts of issues on my walnut case. Seems to be scratches on the edges.
Also (without having a planck screwed in) the tolerance levels when the case is closed is really high. I would expect it to be more flush.
Overall doesn't really feel as premium as I would expect for the price.

zeelI hope you tried to screw it in...it's got quite a small margin but it should fit! You may have to work the screw holes a bit to get them through the PCB!
